Learn Italian culture and language

Dublin taught me English.

Paris taught me French. Both taught me that real fluency comes from living the language, not studying it. That's how I teach Italian.

Master the language,

live
the Italianity

Fluency isn't luck. It's the right method

Private lessons built around you:  your goals, your pace, your Italian. Real conversation, real culture, real progress from lesson one, with materials chosen to fit how you actually learn.

Welcome, I'm Eleonora!

At school I didn’t like languages at all. I couldn’t see what they were for, and I was the despair of my high-school English teacher.

I’m Eleonora, and I was definitely not born a “language person”.

Slowly I realised what languages were giving me: the freedom to travel and to talk with people from completely different cultures. So I learned them my own way. I took lessons where I mostly practised speaking, and I grabbed every chance to live inside the language: vlogs, TikTok, podcasts, real conversations, my phone switched to English or French.

Dublin and then Paris did the rest.

That's the entire foundation of The Italianity Project.

I've since trained formally: I hold a certification in teaching Italian as a foreign language, and I keep up with current approaches to how languages are really learned.

But everything I teach was tested on myself first, in two languages, long before I taught a third.

If grammar drills never got you speaking, this is built differently: real materials, real conversation, real culture, from day one.

Voices of Authentic Italianity

After taking private and semi-private lessons with Eleonora, I feel much more confident in my ability to speak Italian. She was patient with my mistakes and made learning fun!

Studying with Eleonora made me less afraid to actually speak Italian. I feel so much more confident overall. She's encouraged me to try new expressions and use more complex grammar.

I'd previously learnt Italian through courses and found them a little awkward and slow. Through practical sessions with Ele, focused on actually speaking and reading, I saw a huge improvement within months. She's leagues ahead of any other teacher I've had!
